Try the invoice check

The system

What is IrodAI?

Software for accounting firms that takes most of the routine work off the team: it downloads the NAV data, collects the documents, checks every invoice against the NAV data, asks for what is missing, understands the client's reply, and answers the firm's phone and chat. The decision stays with the accountant.

Who is behind it?

Tokár Ádám, a Hungarian sole trader in Gyula, Hungary. I do the setup, the maintenance and the support personally. Company details are in the legal notice.

Is it running anywhere yet?

It is just starting: the first 3 firms bring it in as founding partners. That is why I cannot show references yet, but I commit to a go-live date in writing, and if I miss it, I refund every fee paid.

Which ledger software does it work with?

Any of them: QualitySoft, RLB, Kulcs-Soft, Novitax, Forint-Soft, Infotéka, Tensoft and others. Approved items go out as CSV or XLSX, and from the Pro plan in the QualitySoft, Kulcs-Soft, RLB and Novitax import formats.

Does it file the tax return?

No, and it never will. Preparing the return data for the accountant's approval is in development, but filing and signing stay with the accountant.

Chasing and checking

How does it chase a missing document?

Whatever shows in NAV but has no document is requested by email, in the firm's name and tone. If no answer comes, it sends a reminder. Every email is logged.

What does "understands the reply" mean?

If the client writes "I will send it next week", it asks again next week. If they write "that was a private expense", it marks it for the accountant. If they attach the invoice, it files and checks it. If it does not understand, it tells the accountant.

What does it check on an invoice?

10 fields against the NAV data: seller, tax number, invoice number, issue date, delivery date, payment method, net amount, VAT rate, VAT and gross amount. It also recalculates the VAT and the total and checks the tax number's check digit. Try it on the Try it page.

What about receipts and foreign invoices?

They are not in the NAV Online Számla data, so they still have to be requested. The chasing agent does that too, only without the NAV comparison.

Countries

Which countries are covered?

Hungary only, today. The check runs against NAV Online Számla, Hungary's real-time invoice reporting system.

When do Poland, Romania and Croatia come?

They are on my roadmap: Poland's KSeF, Romania's e-Factura and Croatia. I do not promise a date. Join the waitlist on the home page and I write to you personally when your country is close.

Can a firm outside Hungary use it now?

Only for Hungarian client companies, because the NAV check is the core of the system. For other clients it would not be worth the fee yet, and I would rather tell you that now.

Pricing and contract

How much does it cost?

Start €129, Pro €349, Large firm €799 a month. With monthly billing there is also a one-time setup fee (€390, €990, €1,990). Above 300 client companies, the Network tier starts at €1,290 a month.

How much is the annual fee?

10 monthly fees for 12 months, no setup fee: Start €1,290, Pro €3,490, Large firm €7,990.

Is VAT added?

Prices are in EUR. I invoice as a Hungarian sole trader under the Hungarian small business VAT exemption, so no VAT is added to my invoice. Business customers in other EU countries account for any VAT due in their own country under the reverse charge.

Can I buy online?

No, there is no online checkout. After a demo call I send a written offer, and I invoice monthly or yearly in advance once you accept it.

What is the founding partner price?

The first 3 firms pay half the monthly fee for as long as they stay subscribed, monthly from the first month. On Pro that is €175. No prepayment. Details: Founding partner.

How much time does it save?

By my estimate, about 119 hours a month in a firm of 8 people with 130 client companies. That is an estimate without measurement, and measuring it is my first task with every founding partner.

What is the notice period?

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled in writing with 30 days' notice. Annual subscriptions run for 12 months. When you leave, you get a full export, then I delete the data and confirm it in writing.

Data and security

Where does my clients' data go?

Your firm and I sign a written data processing agreement with a sub-processor list. Text and image processing runs on the OpenAI API, which does not use data sent through the API for training by default. I never train a model on client data.

Does the data stay in the EU?

I cannot guarantee that today: I am still checking EU processing and zero data retention for the model I use, and I tell you the result in writing before the first contract. If it is a condition for you, private processing is available on the Network tier with a custom quote.

Do I have to hand over my NAV key?

Not your existing one. For each client company, your firm or the client creates a read-only technical user from a step list I provide. I store the key encrypted, it can be revoked at any time, and the submission function is never used.

Who is responsible if the AI is wrong?

The AI flags, it does not decide. Every item moves on only with the accountant's approval, and the system shows which field and which source it flagged. The contract states that the bookkeeping decision is the accountant's.
